Whenever we can, we retreat to the sea. Even if you love where you live, it is always good for the soul to get away, unwind and recharge. The last few years have been such a roller-coaster, from the highest highs to the lowest lows. I feel this instinctive piece sums up how I was feeling at the time of painting it.
